SALVATION
1. Know that God unconditionally loves you!
John 3:16-18 NASB - “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
2. Jesus is the only Name given whereby we are forgiven.
Acts 4:12 NASB - “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”
3. Believe in your heart He died to forgive you all of your sins and rose from the dead. Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and thank Him for complete forgiveness.
Romans 10:8-10 NASB - "But what does it say? 'THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART'—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."
4. Receive His total forgiveness and love.
Romans 8:1 NASB - "Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."
Ephesians 2:4-9 NASB - "But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast."
5. Receive His gift of righteousness and abundant grace.
Romans 5:17 NASB - "For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ."
6. Find a good Bible-believing grace-filled church to be a part of.
2 Peter 3:18 - "But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen."
